The Garden City High School Vocal Jazz Choir is providing their singing valentine service at the high school today. The singing valentine comes with a serenade, a rose, and a personalized card.

GCHS had 2 students perform in the KSHSAA regional Piano contest, on Saturday Feb 8, held at DCCC.
Bryson Workman received a 1 rating (Outstanding) and will compete at State piano, held at Wichita State, on Saturday Feb 22.
Abigail Wise received a 2 rating (Excellent).


Jayce Navarro, St. Dominic Catholic School 5th grader, won the Finney County Spelling Bee that was held on Saturday, February 8th. Gemma Perez, Plymell Elementary School 5th grader, was the runner-up. The State Spelling Bee will be at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas on Saturday, March 22, 2025. https://www.gckschools.com/article/2020104

Plymell Elementary School hosted a Heroes’ Breakfast for first responders Friday morning. The event provided an opportunity for the first responders to visit with the school’s students before the start of school.
