There will be a Baccalaureate service to celebrate your accomplishments in graduation.  Baccalaureate is a Christian faith-based service that celebrates graduates.  This is a moment of reflection and encouragement through music, scripture readings, and brief messages of hope and wisdom to look ahead to the future with gratitude and purpose.  Your whole family is welcome to attend with you in this time of celebration. The GCHS Art Department competed at FHSU in the 50th annual High School Art Day. Garden City High School students took home 47 merit awards for their work. Cesar Morales Gomez, “Is to Perform” Charcoal, took Best of Show. He will receive a $1,000 Field scholarship to attend FHSU, majoring in Art and Design. The instructors from Garden City will receive a $200 Blick Art Materials gift certificate to purchase art materials for their program.
