Garden City Public Schools received a donation of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) units from the Finney County Local Health Equity Action Team (LHEAT). The units will be housed at Victor Ornales Elementary School and Bernadine Sitts Intermediate Center. The LHEAT is funded through the Communities Organizing to Promote Equity Grant through the University of Kansas Medical Center.

She visited with local and other state representatives on important Early Learning program legislation.
