
GCHS football players were at Alta Brown Elementary School this morning greeting students and giving high fives. They also participated in activities with the students to get the school day started .

The GCHS Little Buffs Cheer Clinic for kids 3 years old - 6th grade. (must be potty trained)
- Registration Deadline: August 28 @ 2:00pm—no exceptions!

There will be a 6th grade band instrument rental night on Tuesday at Bernadine Sitts Intermediate Center from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. This is a great time to learn about the Band program at the school.


Kenneth Henderson Middle School volleyball team will hold a fundraiser in partnership with Freddy's tonight, August 27. Fifteen percent of all sales from 5:00-9:00 p.m. will go back to the team. Thank you for your support!

USD 457 Transportation bus driver, Sue Myers, (center orange shirt) retired today after 37 years of dedicated service in working to get students transported safely to and from school.

The annual Buffalo Buddies night was well attended by 2nd - 6th grade boys and girls. The students interacted with the players and coaches as they put the kids through some drills.

Welcome back to school! Students were getting oriented at the schools across the district this morning. Students were touring their schools, figuring out their combination to their lockers, learning the names of students in their class, and getting some class instruction .
