Huge shoutout to the GCHS BUFFALO BRIGADE! For the first time in our program history, our Army JROTC program has earned the highest possible rating: Honor Unit with Distinction (HUD)!
This isn't just a win; it’s elite status. To earn this, our cadets had to score 95% or higher on today's JROTC Program Accreditation (JPA) inspection—covering everything from leadership and drill to community service and logistics.
What does this mean for our Brigade?
🟤 We are now recognized in the top 10% of programs nationwide.
🟤 Our guidon will now proudly fly the Gold Star.
🟤 Our Senior Army Instructor now has the authority to nominate cadets directly to Military Service Academies.
We are incredibly proud of the hard work and discipline these cadets and instructors have shown. You’ve set a new standard for excellence!
