
🏀 KHMS Boys Basketball will compete at home today


Plymell Elementary School 5th grader, Easton Bailey, won the Finney County Spelling Bee on Saturday. He will participate in the state Spelling Bee in Wichita on March 25, 2023.
Giselle Nei, a fifth grader from St. Mary School, was the runner-up. She will be the alternate for the state competition for Finney County.

A free developmental screening clinic will be held Friday, February 10 for children ages 3 to 5 who are residents of Garden City. The screening will take approximately an hour and a half. Trained professionals will check each child's hearing, vision, large and small muscle development, communication, and thinking skills. Appointments may be made by calling the Garfield Early Childhood Center at 620-805-7500.

Garden City High School offers 16 Career & Technical Education pathways that prepare students for high-skill, high-wage careers. Students who enroll in CTE pathway courses are able to practice and develop hands-on skills, explore many career and post-secondary options, participate in internships, and potentially earn an industry recognized credential.
