
The Finney County United Way provided backpacks to Transportation, GC Achieve, and Gertrude Walker Elementary School. They were purchased as part of the contributions received after the Stuff the Bus campaign. Thank you for helping our schools and students be successful.




We want to thank all of the families that came out to participate in the Annual Thanksgiving meal at the schools. We had a number of central office staff at the buildings helping serve the meal to our guests.

Garden City Mayor, Deb Oyler, was at Charles Stones Intermediate Center this morning to read a proclamation to promote American Education Week in Garden City. She presented the proclamation to Garden City Education Association (GCEA) President Lynnlea Anderson.


The Garden City Public Schools Foundation Grant Squad visited schools on Monday, November 13 to award $200 mini-grants to help teachers enhance instruction in their classrooms. The Garden City High School drama department will present The Addams Family: A New Musical School Edition, on November 10th and 11th at 7:00 p.m. and November 12th at 2:30 p.m. It will be held in the auditorium.
