Plymell Elementary School partnered with Leave a Legacy foundation to hold the Plymell Legacy Mile on Wednesday at Lee Richardson Zoo. The Student Lighthouse Team worked to raise funds for the Greatest Needs Fund to help pay for cancer patient medical bills. The team had a goal of $500 and they announced at the event that they raised $900.
There will be no school for Garden City Public Schools on Thursday, April 25 for teacher inservices and Friday, April 26 for a new teacher inservice. Classes will resume on Monday, April 29, 2024.

The Garden City High School music department participated in the State Large Group Contest in Dodge City on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. A panel made up of three judges rated each of the performances in their particular music group. https://www.gckschools.com/article/1557269
