GCHS will host a GCCC Dual-Credit Enrollment event in the Commons Area on Wednesday from 5 – 7PM. GCHS and GCCC staff will assist families with the paperwork process to enroll in dual-credit for the spring semester. Parent signatures are required for all high school students.


The GCHS Men's Choir had community members perform with them during Monday night's choir concert. The GCHS Combined Choir performed their traditional Carol of the Bells with GCHS Choir Alumni.

At last night’s Board of Education meeting, Mark Rude was recognized for 12 years of service and Jennifer Standley was recognized for 8 years of service on the Board. This is their last month on the USD 457 Board of Education. Thank you for your service to the school district.

Garden City High School is seeking business community volunteers for their upcoming Freshman Career Fair on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. The fair is focused on career exploration for GCHS freshmen who will select a career academy. https://www.gckschools.com/article/1352295


The Garden City High School STUCO presented a check to the Leave A Legacy Foundation during the MatchDay event. The group raised funds from a dodge ball tournament earlier this month. The students also visited with the organizations participating in MatchDay.

Garden City Public Schools will run mud routes tomorrow, Monday, November 27.

Garden City Public Schools will observe the Thanksgiving holiday next week. There will be no school November 20 – 24. District office and facilities will be closed during the week for the fall vacation. Classes will be back in session on Monday, November 27, 2023.
