Garden City High School had volunteers help with Future Now Finance where freshmen participated in a financial literacy simulation designed to help students understand some of the challenges involved in preparing for an employable future and adulthood.





Garden City High School will present a jazz band concert on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium at the school.

Garden City High School received a phone call at approximately 12:40pm today indicating there was a bomb at the school. First responders were notified and the school was evacuated for the safety of students and staff. The building was searched and the threat was deemed unsubstantiated. All schools will release at normal dismissal times.
We encourage you to have your child report information about any school safety related incidents to administrators or staff. As always, the primary goal of Garden City Public Schools is to provide a safe and positive learning environment for both students and staff.

Out of an abundance of caution, all Garden City High School students and staff have been evacuated from the building. More information will be shared soon. All students are safe, there is no need to pick them up at this time.
