
Garden City High School HALO will hold a fundraiser in partnership with Freddy's tonight, March 6. Fifteen percent of all sales from 4:00-8:00 p.m. will go back to the school. Thank you for your support!

Enlightened Wellness will represent Finney County at the State Competition in April.





Twenty three (23) GCHS Youth Entrepreneurs competed in the Finney County Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge Feb 29 at Garden City Parks and Recreation. Hosted through Network Kansas partnering Finney Co. EcoDevo Corporation, Garden City Downtown Vision, and Western State Bank.


Manny Ortiz, Mayor of Garden City, read a proclamation at Jennie Wilson Elementary School Friday morning at an all school assembly, designating the day as Read Across America Day in Garden City. The district will be celebrating Read Across America March 4 - 8.


The middle school music departments will participate in the Middle School Western Athletic Conference Music Competition on Friday. The event will be held in Clifford Hope Auditorium at Horace Good Middle School.


The USD 457 Bookmobile is at Family Genesis Dental. Stop by for free screenings and fluoride treatments for kids and adults until 6:00 pm. Free door prizes and drawings!



Garden City High School had volunteers help with Future Now Finance where freshmen participated in a financial literacy simulation designed to help students understand some of the challenges involved in preparing for an employable future and adulthood.
