
The students in the after-school program from Alta Brown Elementary School recently delivered 432 cans from their food drive to the Emmaus House.


The School of Arts and Communications at Garden City High School hosted its annual Showcase Night last night. There were a lot of great presentations during the event.

Garden City High School Vocal Jazz is holding a fundraiser in partnership with Freddy's tonight, December 12. Fifteen percent of all sales from 4:00-8:00 p.m. will go back to the organization. Thank you for your support!

The Garden City Public Schools Board of Education met during a special meeting on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. The Board looked at the Guiding Principles from RSP & Associates as part of the Boundary Study. The Board also looked at the Boundary Criteria for the Boundary Committee during the meeting. The Board will establish the Boundary Criteria at their January 8, 2024 meeting.

GCHS will host a GCCC Dual-Credit Enrollment event in the Commons Area on Wednesday from 5 – 7PM. GCHS and GCCC staff will assist families with the paperwork process to enroll in dual-credit for the spring semester. Parent signatures are required for all high school students.

At last night’s Board of Education meeting, Mark Rude was recognized for 12 years of service and Jennifer Standley was recognized for 8 years of service on the Board. This is their last month on the USD 457 Board of Education. Thank you for your service to the school district.
