A number of Garden City Public Schools principals volunteered yesterday at the local Kansas Food Bank and filled over 500 bags of food for the Food 4 Kids program. The bags were placed into 72 boxes for distribution. Kansas Food for Kids provides weekend and summer meals to food-insecure children in schools, offering kid-friendly, no-prep foods to bridge hunger gaps when school meals are not available.
