A free developmental screening clinic will be held Friday, September 15 for children ages 3 to 5 who are residents of Garden City. The screening will take approximately an hour and a half. Trained professionals will check each child's hearing, vision, large and small muscle development, communication, and thinking skills. Appointments may be made by calling the Garfield Early Childhood Center at 620-805-7500.
Our ENGAGE after school program kicked off last week. Their weekly focus was on team building and building relationships.

GCHS is hosting a Senior Success Fair next Tuesday at 6:00pm in the Commons Area for GCHS students that are set to graduate this year, along with their parents/guardians. This is a comprehensive fair focused on having a successful final year of high school and transitioning to post-high school plans for the students.
The GCHS football players were at Buffalo Jones Elementary School this morning greeting students and giving high fives. The team will take on Wichita-North at home this Friday.
The HGMS volleyball team is holding a fundraiser in partnership with Freddy's tonight, September 6. Fifteen percent of all sales 5:00-9:00 p.m. will go back to the team. Thank you for your support!
