Garden City Public Schools is happy to announce that we have recently launched a district-wide partnership with ClassDojo that is replacing our former use of Rooms for school/teacher-to-parent communication. As you may know, ClassDojo is a free app that allows you to keep in touch with your child’s school and teachers, to stay informed and feel part of the school community. Through ClassDojo, families connected to their child’s school will be able to:
● Send and receive messages to their child’s teacher
● Receive school and class announcements
● Learn of upcoming school and class events
● See the feedback your child is receiving in class
● Communicate in 130+ languages with automatic two-way translation
Getting Started with ClassDojo

2. Set Up Your Account:
If you received an invitation, simply follow the steps in that email to accept your
invitation.
If you did not receive an invitation, contact your child’s teacher to obtain a unique
code to join their class.
Open the Class Dojo app or visit the website.
Use the unique code provided by your child’s teacher to join the class.
3. Explore Features:
Once set up, you can explore features such as behavior tracking, classroom
updates, and messaging.
4. Start Engaging:
Stay informed about your child’s classroom activities, communicate with teachers, and track your child’s progress and behavior.
