The next meeting of the Garden City Public Schools Board of Education will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2023. The meeting will be held in the Educational Support Center Board Room, 1205 Fleming Street.
The board will recognize Kiley Kilgore and Alejandra Facia for making it to the NSDA National Tournament.
The board will receive a building presentation from Alta Brown Elementary School. They will also receive the District Audit report.
The board will receive a Winter learning report from Jason Johnson, Assistant Superintendent, Heather Stegman Curriculum and Instruction Coordinator, and Michelle Baier, District Instructional Coach.
Under new business: there will be security and technology update. Jason Johnson, Assistant Superintendent, will also provide an update on the 2023-24 school calendar.
The board will hold two executive sessions. The first will be relating to actions adversely or favorably affecting a person as a student, patient or resident of a public institution, except that any such person shall have the right to a public hearing if requested by that person. The second will be relating to personnel matters for non-elected personnel.
