Survey

Earlier this year, Garden City was awarded a planning and programming grant from the Kansas Department of Transportation's Safe Routes to School (SRTS) program. Over the next few months, the City of Garden City and Garden City Public Schools will be working with the Kansas Department of Transportation to create our new SRTS plan. The plan will include policy, program, and project recommendations to make walking, biking, and rolling to school safer and more enjoyable.

Here's how you can help:

Complete the caregiver survey to let us know how your family currently travels to school and what would encourage you to walk or bike to school more - https://ow.ly/AOtq50ZHneO

Head to our interactive webmap to let us know where in town you think there are issues, and what you would need to walk or bike to school more - https://tooledesign.github.io/Garden_City_SRTS/

Talk to us in person at our pop-up event on September 14, at the Horace J. Good Middle School volleyball games starting at 3:30 p.m.
