Garden City Public Schools Skyward Family Access, including Student Online Registration, will be unavailable on Wednesday, July 1st, as the district rolls the system over to the new fiscal year. The site will be available again on Thursday, July 2, 2026. The end-of-year maintenance is necessary to close out the 2025 - 2026 school year and open the 2026-2027 school year on the system.
The link to Skyward can be found at the top of the Garden City Public Schools website, which is located at www.gckschools.com. Parents will need their Family Access username/password to access Skyward. If parents who have enrolled students in the district but do not have the username/password, they will need to contact the school district.
Maintaining open lines of communication between the school and home is vital to achieving the common goal of providing the best quality education to every student. Skyward Family Access is a web-based service that allows parents/guardians to view school-related information on their students. Parents can log in to view attendance, grades, and schedules. Family Access is available anywhere with an internet connection.
The district is requesting parents update their contact information so schools can contact them about their child during the school year.
