Enrollment Office

The Garden City Public Schools Central Student Enrollment Office at the Educational Support Center, 1205 Fleming Street, will be changing its days of operation during the summer. The office will be closed on Fridays during the summer, starting on Friday, June 5th, and going through July 17, 2026.  The office will be open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.  Parents can also call for an appointment to get assistance at 620-805-7000.

The Central Student Enrollment Office will be closed on July 13th and 14th to help support a planned enrollment event that will take place on July 14th, from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the Courtyard at Horace Good Middle School, 1412 N. Main Street.  This event is optional for parents who would like to get help with enrolling their child for the 2026-27 school year.

The Central Student Enrollment Office can assist parents and guardians with the enrollment process. All children new to Garden City Public Schools may enroll on-site or call the Central Enrollment Office for assistance.

The first day of school for Garden City Public Schools is Wednesday, August 12, 2026.  It will be a half-day orientation for all students in kindergarten through fifth grade, seventh grade, ninth and tenth grades, and all students new to the district.  The first full day of school for the district will be Thursday, August 13, 2026, when all classes will be in session for the start of the 2026-27 school year.
