There will be a number of music concerts scheduled during the week at Garden City Public Schools. The free concerts are open to the public.
Garden City High School choirs will hold a vocal recital on Tuesday, April 21st at 6:00 p.m. The concert will be held at Community Congregational Church, 710 N. 3rd Street. The recital will feature GCHS vocal students bound for state solo and ensemble festival. They are asking for free will donation to help with the offset for travel expense to the competition.
Victor Ornelas Elementary School will present a 1st grad musical titled "The Share Bears". It will be held on Thursday, April 23rd at 2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the school gym, 3401 E. Spruce Street.
Garden City High School music students who have advanced to the state solo and ensemble competition will be in Topeka on Saturday, April 25th to perform.
