Garden City High School choir students auditioned on Saturday, November 8th at Dodge City for the Southwest Kansas Music Educators Association District Honor Choir. There were 36 GCHS students that were selected to participate in this year’s choir. The concert will be held at Dodge City High School on Saturday, December 6, 2025.
The GCHS students that received spots in the choir include Soprano I: Alysson Acosta, Morgan Bennett, Chandler Hass-Powers, Katelyn Lucas, and Illiana Rivero. Soprano II: Maribel Ayala, Gyselle Dominguez, McKenna Leon, Raelynn Miller, Paige Sanders, Skylee Stark, and Daniela Loya – Enriquez. Alto I: Emma Haeck, Georgiana Lozano, Sabrina Rodriguez-Valera, Aimar Romero, Lila Schartz-Scrivner, and Ava Spencer. Alto II: Makinlee Bowden, Emelin Dominguez, Marsae Hanneman, Zephyr Hernandez, Katy Martinez, Hayden Schaffer, and Journie Wilson. Tenor: Fernando Alba, Miguel Aleman, Juvey Chairez, Jayden McMillan, and Chase Russell. Bass: Brady Cessna, Savier Espinosa, Christian Hiracheta, Kaleb Knoll, Gabriel Lumacang, and Jackson Myerhoff.
