Horace Good Middle School and Kenneth Henderson Middle School will hold checkout sessions August 4th - 7th from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day to issue iPads to students. Students are encouraged to have all fees paid at the time of iPad checkout. Fee payments can be made at the school or online at: https://payments.efundsforschools.com/v3/districts/55837.
Horace Good Middle School students will also have an opportunity to get their student ID picture taken for the 2025-26 school year.
Kenneth Henderson Middle School students can get their ID picture taken for the 2025-26 school year.
The first day of school for the 2025-26 school year will be Wednesday, August 13th with a half-day orientation for students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade, seventh grade, ninth and tenth grades and all students new to Garden City Public Schools. The first full day of school for Garden City Public Schools is Thursday, August 14, 2025, when all classes will be in session for the start of the 2025-26 school year.
The district is asking parents to update their contact information with the schools. The district needs this contact information so buildings can contact families on any updates as we progress through the school year.
