The Garden City Public Schools Central Student Enrollment Office at the Educational Support Center, 1205 Fleming Street, will be changing its days of operation during the summer. The office will be closed on Friday afternoons during the summer starting on Friday, June 6th, and going through July 18, 2025. The office will be open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. It will be open on Fridays from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
The Central Student Enrollment Office will be closed the week of July 14th to help support the enrollment event that will be held July 15th – 16th at Horace Good Middle School, 1412 N. Main Street. Parents will finalize the enrollment of their child for the 2025-26 school year at this event.
The Central Student Enrollment Office assists parents and guardians with every aspect of the enrollment process. All children new to Garden City Public Schools must enroll through the central enrollment office.
The first day of school for Garden City Public Schools is Wednesday, August 13, 2025. It will be a half-day orientation for all students in kindergarten through fifth grade, seventh grade, ninth and tenth grades and all students new to the district. The first full day of school is Thursday, August 14, 2025, when all classes will be in session for the start of the 2025-26 school year.
