A number of music concerts are scheduled during the coming week at Garden City Public Schools. The free concerts are open to the public.
Victor Ornelas Elementary School will present a 4th grade music program at 2:00 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 29. The concert will be held in in the school gym, 3401 E. Spruce Street.
Edith Scheuerman Elementary school will host a 20-year celebration of the Tigerrific Sign Choir on Monday, April 29. The event will be held from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the school.
Garden City High School will present a jazz band concert at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 29. The concert will be held in the auditorium, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd.
Abe Hubert Elementary School will present a 5th and 6th grade band concert on Thursday, May 2 at 6:00 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium, 1205 A Street. Jennie Barker Elementary School and Plymell Elementary School band students will be performing in the concert.
Jennie Wilson Elementary School will present a kindergarten and 1st grade music program on Thursday, May 2 at 6:00 p.m. There will be a 3rd grade music program at 7:00 p.m. The concerts will be held in the gym at the school, 1401 Harding Avenue.
Charles Stones Intermediate Center will present a band and choir concert on Thursday, May 2 at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria, 401 Jennie Barker Road.
