The Garden City High School Junior Senior prom will be held Saturday, March 23, in the GCHS practice gymnasium, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd. The theme for this year’s gala event is “A Night Under The Stars”. The dance will begin at 9:00 p.m.
For the dance, students will need to enter the side doors by the athletic training office. Guests will need to park in the student parking lot for the viewing of prom. Students must have their ticket with them to be allowed into the event.
Students will need to make sure they keep their email with their QR code ticket, as that will be the ticket to get into prom. The name on the ticket must match your school-issued student ID. Students will not be allowed to enter prom without a ticket and their student ID.
The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the Promenade will begin at 7:00 p.m. Students and their guests will be introduced from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. If students wish to have their name announced, it is suggested to arrive no later than 8:30 p.m. No one will be admitted into the prom after 9:00 p.m.
Parents, family members and friends may view the Grand Promenade as each couple arrives in the main gymnasium. Viewers are asked to enter through the north student entrance, go upstairs and enter the gymnasium, as is done for basketball games.
Visitors are asked not to move from their place unless they are leaving. Visitors may sit in the gymnasium, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Promenade will be streamed on the Garden City High School YouTube Channel.
