The music students from the Garden City middle schools competed in a musical festival on Friday, March 1, at Horace Good Middle School. The schools brought a number of music ensembles to the competition to be judged. A panel made up of three judges rated each of the performances.
The Horace Good Middle School Singers received a “II” rating and the Concert Choir received a “I” rating.
The Horace Good Middle School 7th grade band received a “I” rating and the 8th grade band received a “I” rating.
The Horace Good Middle School 7th grade orchestra received a “I” rating and the 8th grade orchestra received a “II” rating.
The Kenneth Henderson Middle School 7th grade band received a “I” rating and the 8th grade band received a “I” rating.
The Kenneth Henderson Middle School orchestras received a “I” rating.
The Kenneth Henderson Middle School Concert Choir received a “I” rating, the Bella Voce received a “I” rating, and the KH Singers received a “II” rating.
