Garden City High School counselors will conduct course selection sessions for GCHS students during school for the 2024-25 school year. Students will receive their credit checks and review the guide to determine the courses they prefer to take starting in August.
Counselors will be working with the sophomore class on Monday, February 12. They will work with the junior class on Monday, February 19 and they will work with the current freshman class on February 26.
The GCHS counselors will be available to meet individually with students and/or parents to review course selection documents, forms, and answer any questions or concerns during parent teacher conferences. They will be available in the Public Services (Blue) Student Learning Center on Thursday, February 22 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. They will also be available on Friday, February 23 from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m.
All current juniors (and parents/guardians) will schedule individual conference times with their respective academy counselor to review the credit check and select courses. Academy counselors will explain how to schedule these conferences via Calendly.
