There will be a special Board of Education meeting at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5 in the Educational Support Center Board Room, 1205 Fleming Street. The Board will receive an Enrollment Analysis from RSP & Associates as part of the boundary study that they are conducting for the school district. The Board will also establish boundary criteria for the Boundary Committee during the meeting.
The Board approved a boundary study at their meeting on August 28, 2023. It has been over a decade that the district has been using the current school boundaries. There are a number of different factors used to determine boundaries, including but not limited to building capacity and utilization, demographic studies, enrollment balance, the needs of students, and the District Strategic Plan. The district anticipates the implementation of the updated boundaries for the 2024-25 school year.
