Garden City High School choir students auditioned and were selected to perform in the Southwest Kansas Music Educators Association District Honor Choir at Dodge City High School on Saturday, December 2, 2023. There were 26 GCHS students that were chosen to participate in this choir.
The GCHS students that received spots in the choir include Soprano I: Danica Galia, Chandler Hass-Powers, McKenna Leon, Allison Lightner, Daniela Loya, Hayley Loya, and Skylee Stark. Soprano II: Raelee James-Crist, Elissa Hinojos, Darby Reimer, Natalia Sotelo, and Annalise York. Alto I: Harmonie Cruz, Emma Haeck, Georgia Fahrmeier, Karly James, and Abbigail Heckel. Alto II: Emma Lightner, Aleah Eatmon, and Michelle Ramos. Tenor II: Santiago Rueda, Albert Revolorio, and Gustavo Hiracheta. Bass I: Juvey Chairez. Bass II: Ian Haughawout and Tristan Garcia.
The GCHS choir director is Abigail Martinez.
