The Garden City High School JROTC program will conduct a team training camp to prepare students for the upcoming season August 7th – 11th. The camp will focus on physical conditioning and enhance the team’s event training for the coming school year. The camp will be held from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. each day.
All GCHS JROTC students, including incoming JROTC Freshman are welcome to attend this camp. The camp will be held at the high school, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd.

The first day of school for the 2023-24 school year will be Tuesday, August 15, with a half-day orientation for students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade, seventh grade, ninth and tenth grades and all students new to Garden City Public Schools. The first full day of school for all classes for elementary through high school will be in session for the start of the 2023-24 school year.
The first day of school for Garfield Early Childhood Center is Monday, August 21, 2023. The morning session will start at 8:30 a.m. and the afternoon session will begin at 12:15 p.m.
