The Garden City Public Schools Educational Support Center, 1205 Fleming Street, will be changing its days of operation during the summer. The center will be closed on Friday afternoons during the summer starting the week of Monday, June 5, and going to July 21, 2023. The center will be open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 - 5:00 p.m. The center will be open on Fridays from 8:00 – noon and will be closed during the afternoon.
The first day of school for Garden City Public Schools is Tuesday, August 15, 2023. It will be a half-day orientation for all students in kindergarten through fifth grade, seventh grade, ninth and tenth grades and all students new to the district. The first full day of school is Wednesday, August 16, 2023, when all classes will be in session for the start of the 2023-24 school year.
