Horace Good Middle School will present the musical “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR.” on Friday, April 14, at 7:00 p.m. There will be a matinee on Saturday, April 15, at 2:30 p.m. The performances will be held in Clifford Hope Auditorium on the Horace Good Middle School campus, 1412 N. Main Street.
Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students. The box office opens an hour prior to the production for the purchase of tickets at the door.
Synopsis: “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR.” is a fantastic adaptation of the story of transformation and tolerance. The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
