Garden City Public Schools has adopted Remind as a two-way communication tool for the district. Teachers, individual schools, and district wide announcements can be sent to parents and students (ages 13 and over).  

In this rollout of Remind, the District has tied Skyward data to Remind and accounts have been generated for all educators, parents, and students. 

Here's what is important for you to know:
  • It is very important that you check Skyward Family access to ensure that your contact information is correct.  Be sure that your phone and email are accurate. Even if you don't have a smartphone, you can receive text messages. 
  • If you had an existing Remind account, and the contact information  matches with what is in Skyward, your account will be merged. 
  • Call your student's school to update the information. 
You decide how you want to received information. Families can choose how they would like to receive communication from Remind.  Once logged in to a computer or SmartPhone, users can pick if they want to receive the communication via email, text messages, or app notifications in their account settings.
