Families New to Garden City Public Schools

Request a New Student Enrollment Account  if you do not have a Family Access Account and you are new to Garden City Public Schools.  You will receive an email with your account information.

If you have a student currently attending Garden City Public Schools and already have a Skyward Family Access Account, New Student Online Enrollment is available as a tab in your current account.

 Families Returning to Garden City Public Schools

If your student was previously enrolled and attended Garden City Public Schools, left the district, and is returning to Garden City Public Schools you WILL need to complete the New Student Online Enrollment process.

Current Students of Garden City Public Schools

Enrollment for Current Students of Garden City Public Schools has closed.  Paper Enrollment Forms have been mailed to the address listed in Skyward Family Access.  Please complete the forms and return them to the Educational Support Center, 1205 Fleming Street. Contact the Enrollment Office for more information.

Online Enrollment FAQ

 

  • My son/daughter already filled out the blue/yellow/green/pink sheet at the middle school or high school before Spring Break, are they enrolled?

    Answer: No, the colored sheets they were given are from the school counselors to help with course selection for the next year.  This was NOT an enrollment form.  Please complete student enrollment via Skyward. 


  • I am a family member but I can't access my student's enrollment.

    Answer: Enrollment is only loaded under FAMILY 1 or the primary residence of the student. The parent/guardian who is listed under FAMILY 1 is the one who will need to enroll the student. 

     
  • How do I know my Enrollment went through?

    Answer: You will receive a confirmation email once enrollment has been received by the District. Any changes made will have to be approved so confirmation of enrollment may be delayed.    


  • My address changed and my enrollment was denied now what?

    Answer: Until a proof of address has been received by your school office enrollment will be denied. Please contact your school office to submit any necessary documentation for a new address.  After the address change has been confirmed you will have to resubmit your enrollment. It is district policy to have proof of address before we can change the student’s address.

  • I can’t get into Skyward Family Access.
    Answer: Please contact your school for information on how to access Skyward Family Access.
