In September 2016, USD 457 was chosen to participate in the Kansas School Efficiency Audit (KSEA)  process. The audit was started in January 2017 and was completed in April 2017.

The district has carefully reviewed the recommendations provided through this process and plans to implement those which should lead to a cost savings while not negatively impacting important functions and services for students and staff.
