The Technology Steering Committee, comprised of district administration, certified staff, classified staff, community members, and technology staff, meet to discuss and review all aspects related to technology in the district. As technology is ever-changing, it is critical to continually adjust and update policies to align with the District's mission.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

The Technology Steering Committee will research and evaluate the feasibility of developing a policy to address students and staff using personal devices on the District's network.

Acceptable Use Policy

The Acceptable Use Policy shall serve as the statement on the appropriate use of the technology resources available to all authorized users in the District. The Technology Steering Committee will evaluate and make recommendations, additions, and edits to the Acceptable Use Policy to ensure uniformed and consistent application of the policy is applied to all users. Additionally, beginning in 2015-2016 school year, the Acceptable Use Policy will be delivered in an electronic format to students in the 1:1 iPad program to better assure accountability and compliance.
