Welcome to Victor Ornelas!  I am Heath Hogan and I am the Principal here at VO.  I have been an administrator in this building for 7 years, one as an assistant and 6 as the head principal.  Victor Ornelas is one of the larger elementary schools in Garden City with over 500 students.  We have students from 3 years old up through 4th grade.  Our population is made up of 93% minority, with Hispanic students being the majority. 

Victor Ornelas offers a wide variety of programs for student participation.  Some of these include; Student Council, Lunch Bunch, Colorful kids, school musicals, and many more. 

In addition to the many daily successes that we have here at Victor Ornelas, we are proud to say that Victor Ornelas achieved State Standard of Excellence in 2004-2005 on the 4th grade state math assessment.
