DOCKING INSTITUTE SURVEY                                                                                                                                   The Docking Institute of Public Affairs, at FHSU, is conducting a web survey of alumni from western Kansas to gain insight into factors that might stem population loss in western Kansas. The survey can be completed on the web and takes only about 10 minutes.

This research is funded by the Docking Institute and by the western Rural Economic Development Alliance (wKREDA).  I have links to both organizations below.  The information collected will be analyzed at the group level and does not ask for any personal information beyond age, race, and gender.  We are also surveying high school and college seniors and have already completed a general population survey of the area.

 SATURDAY, August 21, 2010  10:00 a.m. -  tour of GCHS 

Noon to 3 p.m. -  Family BBQ              East Practice Field at GCHS            Meal provided by Planks.  Games, inflatables, and conversations.

5:00 p.m. - Pre-dinner cocktails at Samy's at the Clarion, 1911 E Kansas Ave.

6:00 p.m. - Midnight - Alumni Reception (No children, please.) doors open at 6:00 p.m. and dinner is served at 7:00 p.m.

July 1 & 2, 2011
