     The Media Center would like to encourage you to check out the Library Web Page! It offers a large amount of information... including search engines, homework help, teacher web pages, teacher resources, database links and other useful pages.

     Students and staff may now access their personal library information online at Web Collection Plus. This includes current checkouts, overdue items, and fines. To access this feature, go to the Library webpage (address above) , click on the "GCHS OPAC" button. When the OPAC page comes up, click on the "My Info" icon at the top of the page. You will then be asked for a barcode number and a password. The barcode number is your ID NUMBER  (Teachers Only: Leave off the last number of your ID number). The password is your LAST NAME.

     USD 457 has purchased a new online database... EBSCO for student and staff use. It contains a large amount of research material, including periodicals, newspapers, primary sources, and journals. It is a great research tool! To access EBSCO, log on to the district webpage ( http://www.gckschools.com/ ) Click on the "Resource Links" icon, and then click on the EBSCO link. It will ask for your computer username and password. An alternate method to access this database is to go to the Library Webpage, click on the "Databases" button, click on the EBSCO link and then enter your username and password when asked.
