7th PRE-ALGEBRA

This class develops mathematical concepts beyond basic skills. Students investigate static’s, rations, rational numbers, and algebraic equations through hands-on, minds-on explorations. Problem solving is the focus.

8th ALGEBRA

This is the regular eighth grade math course. Algebra is a transition from arithmetic to algebra. Students will work with integers, fractions, decimals, percents, proportions, and graph work (involving variables.) Solving equations and inequalities will be stressed.
